I am a Black Brazilian human rights and racial justice activist living in the United States and working on the intersections of race, gender, reproductive justice and the arts.
I have more than fifteen years of experience working with social movements and international organizations in several countries around the world, such as Ethiopia, Brazil, Colombia and Dominic Republic, doing innovative work on racial justice, political participation, and reproductive justice.

I am also the founder of Black Women Policy Lab, a new initiative that works to strengthen the political leadership capacity of Black women human rights defenders to become public officials.
